Howdy Y’all! I am Dr. Alekhya Patagarla, a dentist by profession with a penchant for artistry. My journey in the realm of dentistry has been akin to painting a masterpiece, blending bright colors of excellence with the more subdued hues of challenge.
Education and Career Path
My scholarly pursuits commenced at a missionary school, instilling in me a self-disciplined and focused approach to life. After completing my Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery (BDS) in India, I honed my skills in the field for five years before making the transition to the United States. It was at Western Kentucky University (WKU) where I pursued my Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA), contributing actively to community development and welfare programs as a graduate assistant on a full scholarship. Subsequently, I achieved my DDS degree from the esteemed University of Southern California (USC).
Philosophy and Passion
Rooted in the values instilled by my grandparents, I am driven by a deep sense of gratitude and a commitment to giving back to society. I wholeheartedly believe in the right of every individual to attain both health and happiness. My patients affectionately refer to me as "Dr. I-LIKE-YA," appreciating the comfort and levity I bring to the field of dentistry.
Interests and Leisures
When I’m not immersed in dentistry, you might find me engaged in a spirited game of ping pong with my husband or expressing my artistic inclinations on canvas. Additionally, my proficiency in Indian classical dance means that I’m always prepared to share in the joy of dance, embracing any form at any given moment.

Dr. Padmaja Rongali's journey in dentistry has been shaped by a rich tapestry of experiences, beginning with her upbringing in the southern part of India. It was here that she laid the foundation for her career, earning her bachelor's in dental surgery degree at the esteemed NTR University of Health Sciences. Her formative years in India instilled in her a deep commitment to the field of dentistry and a passion for improving the oral health of her patients.
Driven by a desire to expand her knowledge and skills, Dr. Rongali's pursuit of excellence led her to the United States, where she undertook further studies and earned a DDS degree from the University of Chicago College of Dentistry in Illinois. This educational journey equipped her with a wealth of expertise and a global perspective that continues to inform her practice to this day.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Rongali treasures her role as a loving wife and dedicated mother to two boys. Embracing a life filled with diverse interests, she finds joy in the culinary arts, the rhythm of dance, and the adventure of travel, especially when shared with her family. These experiences outside of the dental clinic enrich her understanding of the world and infuse her approach to patient care with empathy and warmth.
